Fabric Fishy Class

You Can Do This!

Grab your friends or family members, pick a date and let’s have some fun! You can create your very own beautiful work of art while enjoying the companionship of your favorite folks. The FabricFishy class includes everything you need to become a successful artist. No sewing is involved to produce your piece. Using the appliqué method, you will basically cut and paste your project together. This is a simple and easy to learn craft.

What You Get

Semi private (2-4 students) instruction in a quiet and relaxing environment
5-8 hours of instruction: Techniques, skills and finalization of your project, as needed
The use of our original hand-drawn fish or bird designs and templates created by the instructor
All the colorful batik fabrics, prepped and ready to create your own masterpiece. (Over 100+ fabric patterns)
Batik background fabric to facilitate the final piece. Several fabric options will be available to choose from.
Your choice of image designs. Options include either fish or birds. 18”x 24”(Birds) or 16"x 20"(Fish) mounted on foam-core board sized and ready to drop into a standard size ready-made frame (Frame not included)
Use of irons, work mat, scissors, adhesive tapes, and all other miscellaneous tools necessary to complete every aspect of your project
The completion of a beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind work of art, ready for framing

All inclusive cost:

Fish $165 per person (size 18"x24") Optional: Custom batik fabric wrapped boarder mat $45.00 additional

Birds $145 per person (size 16"x20") Optional: Custom batik fabric wrapped boarder mat $40.00 additional

Includes all necessary instruction, tools and materials

Class size: Minimum of 2, maximum of 4 students

Home classes available. Get your friends together and plan a home event. I will bring all the art materials to your location. Create your FabricFishy in the comforts of your own home. Dates and time can be scheduled around what works for your group.
